Power of positive - BY NATU (a competition entry)
Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth!
Worship the Lord with gladness.
Come before him, singing with joy.
Acknowledge that the Lord is God!
He made us, and we are his.
We are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving;
go into his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the Lord is good.
His unfailing love continues forever,
and his faithfulness continues to each generation.
Psalms 100
Life isn’t easy, but it’s simple. Positive minds make positive lives, negative minds make negative lives. Positive minds have faith and hope, Negative minds don’t.
Jesus has a perfect plan for me and you, and his plan isn’t for everyone to go around feeling miserable and sorry for themselves. Jesus said “I have come that they might have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10.
You should practice being positive in each situation of your life. This isn’t easy because bad things happen to everyone. In these circumstances you have to keep going at it and keep trying to be positive. Don’t worry, God will bring the best out of the situation.
Here is a very well known example…. (more…)

Angels! Wow
We looked last night at the supernatural. How God fills all space and time without a body. It is hard for us to understand the nature of God, the fact that he is Spirit and yet a personage. The fact that he is in us, outside us, around us, and filling the whole universe with its trillions of galaxies. I guess our brains are far too puny for us to grasp it.
It was great though to think that God made angels to help us. We have got far more help on our side than we can ever see. There is the Almighty God who will never leave us and who blesses us with every blessing, there is Jesus who prays for us and gives us all power and authority, there is the Holy Spirit who comes inside us to guide and councel us and on top of all that we have angels sent to help and care for us. Boy - God has made every provision for us to succeed and be the best we can be. He is so for us and for our good - in fact more than we could ever imagine!
But angels are only servants. They are spirits sent from God to care for those who will receive salvation. Hebrews 1:14

Wot a Gr8 tym
We had a fantastic weekend with guys from Manchester, Merthyr Tydfil, Southport and Lancaster. The weather was brilliant and so warm - an important factor when you are playing a wide game with 100 kids trying to find you and you are stuck up a tree eh Marcus? We were given two lovely cottages to ’sleep’ in. We toasted marshmellows round the camp fire, played in the games room and spent time learning more about God. We looked at how we are all spectaculor and that God has made us all just right for what he wants us to do.
