    Strange Stories..

A woman in Florida is suing her husband, Arnim, after she Googled his name and found he had won $600 000 on the lottery. Donna Campbell, 47, became suspicious when her lottery-addict husband disconnected the phone and wouldn’t let her watch TV. THen a postcard arrived: “Congratulations on te purchase of your new home.” Arnin has now disappeared.

A German policman fulfilled every schoolchild’s dream when he handcuffed a teacher during a road safety demonstration - and then discovered that he’d left the key at home. While the office phoned for help, the class of six and seven-year-olds applauded wildly.

    Just a thought
    Stars and Parties

j0395952.jpgAs I was walking the dog this morning I looked up at the stars and moon shining in the clear sky. A thought popped into my head.

God promised Abraham that his decendants would be as many as the stars in the sky and he asks Abraham to count them. Genesis 15:5. The decendants of Abraham are all those who have a relationship with God - a special covenant. Scientists also tell us that new stars are being formed constantly.

In Luke 15 we find a few times in the passage that once someone becomes a Christian there is a party of rejoicing in heaven. There is a rave up and it must have music and dancing. It must have fireworks and…. then I wondered if God out of his utter excitment that he had one more in his family exploded in joy by creating another star.

This thought made me smile and think about the overwhelming excitement in heaven over something that happens here on earth. It made me ponder over the abounding love and emense pride of his children as each one is born into his kingdom. I will never forget the pride on Trev’s (my husband’s) face everytime he looked down at the face on one of his newborn children. That is how God feels about us.
