I am overwhelmed at the goodness of God. He is so gracious and steps down and turns our weakness into strength.
i was so honoured to be leading the youth work at the bible week this year. The youth are the best people on the face of the earth. Their enthusaism and energy nearly topped mine!! Their passion and faith was stupendous.
Just when I thought I had seen the most touching move of God - he moved again and something else happened. I found one minute I was crying with what I saw and what God showed me and the next I was dancing and shouting for joy!
For me personally it was not the 113 healings we saw, or the numbers of re-committed but the way God changed lives. The way the healings meant new and free ways of livingfor those people. The transformation in those re-committing their lives to God and the excitement in their families. The enjoyment of God that I saw in the hearts of those that have been luke warm for years. I left knowing that God had so changed lives that they would never be the same again.
It all reminds me of the words of our friend Chandrakant. He said ask a person what the greatest miracle is that they have experienced and they will say it is the one that has changed their life. For the one who was depressed it is release from depression, for the one that had eczema it is no longer feeling uncomfortable, for the one that is blind it is being able to see again. God isn’t just into miracles - but releasing us into a life of freedom and joy.
